In my experience, French Tickling and Czech Tickling (among others) produce some top notch material. Very attractive models, very ticklish, and whatever intangible factors that I can't articulate but tend to draw me towards some producers and not others. But I have a hard time watching them when the participants are non-English speaking.

I can't come up with any reason for this. They're not saying much, and laughter of course is universal, but something about being cognizant of it makes it harder for me to enjoy. Was wondering if anybody else has had any similar reactions or theories as to why this is?

I hope this does not come across as some form of racism of discrimination. I love women (both in fetish films and real life) of all backgrounds. This is a matter of communication. I'm a big lover of tickle interviews, and so while even though tickling clips generally don't involve much talking, I imagine this is somehow a factor

Good excuse to learn French or Czech I suppose....

I know what you mean though FT and all facets of Czech tickling produce amazing clips with some intangible quality unique to their paradigm. If this could be combined with a plot discernable to an English speaking audience then there is a recipe for something amazing.

I love the Frenchtickling videos they're always top notch. I stick around there because of a few favorite models but you're right I don't understand what the hell they're saying but it doesn't bother me TOO much. Yea it would be cool to know what they're saying but luckily if the laughter is good then it doesn't matter lol. I've got a few clips where they speak English a little when they know how. I'm sure the owner dude is fluent English, but they're French so they don't need to cater to us! I love what they do now how they do it. They can keep speaking that crazy shit and I'll keep buyin the clips lol.

My French is very Rusty.. But I believe the most common phrase is Mercy roughly translated..:trainwreck:

I only know about six words of Czech, and often all you need to know to enjoy a lot of their videos is two of them:

Prosim (Please), and Ne (No)

"Prosim! Ne! Prosim! Ne!" is heard a lot in those videos...

ha, good point! however, I do know Spanish...enough to understand it more or less. But a Spanish video would have the same issue. hearing certain words/phrases in english excites me, whereas hearing "no mas cosquillas" or something to that effect wouldn't do much for me...

I agree....while laughter is universal, it would be nice to know what banter is going on between the ler and lee. Especially if the ler is doing a lot of verbal taunting. Perhaps subtitles? 🙂

Also, FT and Tickling Submission do indeed produce some of the best vids out there, regardless of the language barrier.

That's why we do English subs to at least our interview clips with the ticklees, and sometimes for the tickling clips. Although I know how much time it takes to write subtitles so I can understand French Tickling and Czech Tickling have no time for that with so many clips produced.

It really takes much time and we do it because we like to share all this emotional interaction, but I can't guess if it's really needed by customers..

You guys are great, and love that you do the interviews. They are very thoughtful too, as opposed to "scale of 1-10 blah blah" for 45 seconds. So the subtitles are great. Unfortunately for me, it's not just about understanding what's being said, but hearing it in my native language that is particularly exciting for me. But that's nobody's problem but my own - I'm just trying to understand my own psychology!

Keep up the great work 🙂

Actually I can relate to Radiohead's point above (about the psychology of it), because as we all know, the word TICKLE carries a million-volt electric shock for us ticklephile native English speakers, and I have always been disappointed to discover that the equivalent word in other languages does not have the same effect on me.

Nevertheless I always find it intriguing to hear native speakers of other languages using their own tickling words, and I try to imagine what power those words must have for them and to expand my mind and perceptions to think like them. I like discovering that there is a whole world of tickling going on in other languages and communities, with all the same power and meaning and naughtiness that we would all recognise.

I'm a Czech living in France, so I actually understand both of these producer's clips: yay lucky me. ^^
With that being said: I don't know why, but I don't like Czech accent much, so it's bizarrely a bit of a turnoff for me to hear the girls speaking. 🙁

Do you mean the Czech accent when speaking in English, or the sound of the Czech language itself? I have thought for a long time that Czech is possibly the most beautiful language in the world.

Hahaha, you are a rare breed ^_^ I love the Czech Republic, it's a wonderful place! And here I was considering myself lucky to be a native French speaker 😛

To contribute to the OP's reflection, it is not the language that bothers me in these videos as much as that they can be really, REALLY TALKY. If it were just a few words, it would not bother me, but the girls often have ENTIRE CONVERSATIONS, and it is frustrating me as HELL. I can't even imagine what Frenchtickling videos sound like to people who don't speak the language, given that they talk almost every 10 seconds. Granted it is often funny and interesting, but it's probably not if you don't get it. Some time ago, one of my British friends here had me write him a translation for a video we luckily had both bought and which was containing a significant amount of dialogue.

Good excuse to learn French or Czech I suppose....

Actually, coming here on the Forum and watching American-made tickling videos, along with reading the product descriptions and purchase instructions, has improved my English tremendously. I am not kidding, my English would not be as good today if I had not spent so much time interacting on the TMF and watching porn. So I suppose you guys can actually learn a lot from French, Czech or Russian vids.

On a side note, I noticed that CTG has started to embed subtitles in their more plot-rich videos. I hope that it will soon become a standard!
