FREE HUGS

A guy named Juan Mann walked around with a sign that said "Free Hugs." Naturally, lots of people were skeptical, but some took him up on his offer. Eventually, he handed the signs to others, who then offered their own hugs to strangers (I'd be willing to bet that the young women with the signs had a lot more people who wanted hugs than Juan or the other guys).

Of course, this sort of activity couldn't be allowed to continue, so the police shut him down. Then he started a petition drive and got support from thousands of people, and a few more hugs, too.

Make of this what you will, but give it a look

I promise that i would not post for awhile because i'm having personal problems but when i saw this i thought that there is someone that needs this a much as i.

Sounds like a great man, as do you for having such interest. I think I might make a sign today. One for free hugs and another for free tickles. Probly won't do to well with the latter though, lol. GREAT POST! Hope you can overcome your personal problems with speed and ease.

um....wow! I'm actually speechless. I mean....the guy just.....hugs people. And inspires others to do the same.

In today's world, I guess we all get all wrapped up in our own selfish ways that we forget that something as simple as a hug actually CAN make you feel better. It's actually a pretty cool thing to do. And judging by the signatures he got, I'm not the only one who thinks so.

I think the entire point to it was that maybe... just maybe... there is a person out there who just wants to spread the comfort of a hug WITHOUT using it as a way to meet girls etc... just as previously replyed to make your heart feel better. To do as you say would be completely beyond his point.

I was pretty touched by this video.
