Ok so i'm sitting with my friend jason and a bunch of my other friends the other day when were at the mall, and jason randomly says, omg u guys, i was listening to the radio and heard something about tickling fetishes. HOLY CRAP i about shit my pants lol. It scared the crap out of me because the entire time i was like bright red and praying to God that they wouldn't look over at me. So they start talking about tickling and all this crap, and the whole time i'm like totally freaking out. I honestly don't even know exactly what they were talking about because i was busy trying not to get noticed lol. Anyways, i don't know why i posted this lol, but oh well

I had something similar happen when Yaqi last appeared on Howard Stern. I came into work and found some of my co-workers listening to the whole scene with those two ladies from the catfighting web site. It was a very surreal experience, believe me!

I first learned that there was such a thing as a tickling fetish from a friend of mine. It happened roughly 13 years ago, but he was happened to be paging through a photography magazine and suddenly came across an interesting classified ad in the last few pages. It was an ad selling fetish videos, and among the fetishes offered, tickling was listed. He just seemed to think that the whole thing was amusing, but I was just stunned!

I later mentioned the ad to another friend of mine. I brought up the tickling fetish video as though it were some kind of odd fetish as a way of hiding how I really felt. What really surprised me though, was that my friend, instead of laughing about it, got a big smile on his face and just said that it would be a FUN tape to watch. Looking back, I think that my friend was probably a ticklephile like the rest of us.

I've often wondered what my friends would think if they found out about my thing for tickling. One night, a bunch of us were just sitting around, and one friend who was taking a course on human sexuality decided that everyone should take turns confessing any fetish or paraphilia that they might have. Immediately, all faces turned red and one girl spoke up, saying, "Nope, not doing that..." and the rest of the crowd readily agreed (except the guy who considered himself an expert on human sexuality). It was conforting to know that almost everybody in that room seemed to have some kink that they didn't want to discuss. 😀

I confessed my thing for tickling to only one person other than my wife (although a few ex-gf new about it I'm more than sure). This female friend would then tease me about it at the most in-oppertune times! Out of the blue she would ask me about tickling or tickling me adn for awhile I got kind of PO'd about it. No quite exactly in the same lines... but one of the girls I get to tickle often enough, several times when talking to her on MSN... if the subject of tickling comes up and I start to make it seem as if I'm beginning to consider it mean so therefore I should hold back a little... she very quickly says something along the lines of...

Lexi, If something like that happended to me, I would probably first get embarrassed, then perk up my ears to hear what my friends' attitudes were about tickling. Maybe it would slip out that one of them was curious about tickling.

Then again, I do get embarrassed if I'm watching a show with friends and a tickle reference pops up. So I might just do the same thing that you did. That is, try not to get noticed...

It would really depend on who was around when the tickle reference came up. I have a couple friends who don't care very much about anything so I could probably tell them about my tickle fetish and they wouldn't think much of it.

Just the other day I was in a small group of friends, a couple of whom at born-again Christians. Diane, a heart-stopping blonde, starting talking about a Veggie Tales (Christian-based children's enterainment) video called ESTHER. In the Bible book ESTHER, she explained, an evil man named Haman gets hanged for his wrongdoing. Since hanging's too harsh for kids, Diane said, the VEGGIE TALES video of ESTHER had Haman banished to "the island of perpertual tickling." Diane started laughing as she said it and I felt a rush, not wanting to show how worked up she had just gotten me. Were I alone with Diane, I know I would have handled it differently, but there were too many people around for me to try my tickling tricks.

As we were in Diane's house, she grabbed a few VEGGIE TALES videos from her daughter's room to show us. She put one in the V.C.R. but ufortunately not the ESTHER vid. If I ever get Diane alone, maybe I will touch on that ticklish topic again.

As far as those experiences are concerned, I knew I found tickling more than just a childlike activity, even though I still was a child, at about age five, The first time I felt uncomfortable about it was the first time I watched (I hope I get this right) The Brothers Karamozov Which, near the beginning, has a scene of a man tickling a tied, I believe, blonde woman. I was with my family and friends at the time, and all I wanted to do was move as close as possible to the screen, and just stare. I'm sure I turned all kinds of red as the scene went on. I didn't look away, in case someone asked why, I just kept watching, hoping no one would notice me, because I couldn't help thinking that what was happening inside me, might be causing a noticable reaction (Besides blushing) on the surface. Fortunately, everyone kept watching the movie, and not me. So I understand where you're coming from.

I thought it was a recognised fact that everyone has fetishes of sorts? Some are just more kinky than others. I've had girls say "tell me what your fetish is, and i'll tell you mine". I think tickling ranks as a pretty quirky, but not even approaching bizzarre fetish. I think it's alot more about the way you carry it - If you honestly think you're a twisted, perverse little creature for being turned on by tickling, that's exactly how you're going to appear, and that in turn, is the way people will think you really are.
