Greetings all,
With all the new folks, I'm noticing a lot of threads that have "Subject" lines that don't make clear what the thread's about. This can leave your thread without responses at times, for folks who come here with little time. We have, on average, 2 pages of new posts every weekday. If someone skims for what's "interesting" to them, indirect titles in the "Subject" will usually get skipped.
That ain't good.
What's good is havin' a merry bunch of participation. You can help. Instead of saying "does anyone know?" as a "Subject, saying "Looking for computer help" is clearer. The clearer the subject, the better.
Get specific, folks. People here WANT to read your post, and more are likely to respond if they know what your post is about.
This public service announcement brought to you by those meanies oppressing you here in the TMF...
