Friendship (for Ray)

So, I'm sitting here like all night last night feeling absolutely horrid because I missed the radio broadcast with Ray. I got called away to help another friend with something else about an hour before air. And I'm all like "......DAMMIT!"

I was upset mostly because Ray has always been a great friend to me and a lot like the dad I never had (or did have, but didn't yell at me quite so much). He's always helped with the 's and the 😕's and the occasional 's and I like to think I've done the same back.

This one's dedicated to all the really, really close friends I've made on the TMF (if you just smiled, yes, I mean you 😉 ) but mostly for Ray in the hopes that he gets better soon.

Love you man.

So quit beating yourself up about it, Snail. You have done all you could for Ray right now and this other person needed your help. Ray would tell you himself that this doesn't make you any less of a friend to him and to help the other person if you can. You missed Ray last night and helped a friend in need by giving your friend your time.

The choice you made makes you a winner to your friends here reading this and I am quite sure to Ray also.

I had to miss it myself due to a prior engagement, but I'm sure Ray knows we're all pulling for him. He's the first real friend I made on this forum, and through all the ins and outs, it's lasted to this day.

I just talked to Ray.I can tell you he was in tears talking about the outpouring of love and support from this community over the past two weeks.

Hes going to be in the rehab center for another week,possibly two before he can go home so lets keep the love flowing,he and Tracy both need it.

And what can you say about the producers who have donated proceeds from the sale of clips and artwork.You people are amazing,what else can i say?A tidy little sum has been raised and i know it will help a great deal.

Josh,don't feel bad about missing the show brother.As Kered said you did just what Ray would want you to do,you reached out to a friend in need.

I feel like i can say this in Rays stead,love ya man!

I don't know Venray personally but from what I've read he sure sounds like good people.I wish nothing but the best for him.
