From the bad names category

Today I was off thinking about my bad names list, as I've done on here before. I think I've posted on here before that in the 70s and early 80s, my parents knew a guy by the name of Dick Whitehead. Pretty funny, as I think of it now.
As funny as that name is, one has to wonder if there is anyone in this world with the name Richard Head. That would be an AWFUL name. I mean, imagine calling in business to ask for someone: "Hi, can I speak to Mr Smith, this is Dick Head!" LOL! It ranks right up there with the name of Seattle Mariners pitcher JJ Putz.
Okay, end of rant. I just like to think of these funny names sometimes, usually as comic relief from the usual day to day life.

Brits and such

I know of an English guy (bloke, whatever!) who works for the BBC called, "Basil Comely". Can you imagine? I can't even *begin* to imagine how many times this guy got shoved into lockers as a kid.

Then there are names which assures a person's future success. I know a bartender here in NYC is called Reagan Sharkey--is that a great name or *what*!?

Man, you just know Mitch Gaylord's kids took shit in junior high. I also ran across a name on a document at work, fella by the name of Woodcock. Really hope he doesn't have a son. Nor do I hope the gentleman named Mr. Slutsky has a daughter.

One was my neighbors growing up was a guy named "L.A. Duck." I always thought that was pretty funny! It reminds me of a Disney character.

Other really bad names are Homer, Reuben, and Ethel 😀

OMG you guys--I SO need to start writing these down. Every day, we get the new patient admit list and you woul DIE if you saw what came thru here. My friend and cubicle-mate Kiki and I hold a daily contest to see who gets the patient with the worst name!
