It started with a clip, a clip from a random anime someone showed me featuring a cute anime chick talking to a boy with a close up shot of her dangling soles. Looked up one of the names in the subtitles, found out the clip was from the series Full Metal Panic?. I just watched the first two episodes from this series, and I have to say, I think I like it.

I'll hold judgement until I see the rest of the series though. I do love the lead female though, Kaname. I think she may be slowly replacing Love Hina's Kitsune as a personal fave.

Anyone else seen this series? Does it stay entertaining as it goes along?

It's pretty good, not the best you'll see, but decent. Worth checking out if you have the time, but I prefer their comedy spinoff, Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu, which is genuinely pretty funny.

FF7tickler, that's good to hear. I was wondering how far the Sosuke/Kaname relationship can go without it playing itself out too soon. After the the train manuver where Kaname tries to ditch him, what he did afterward would have spooked any sane girl. I guess it is a farce though. Good to see it peppered with giant mechs from what I can see. I like those.

Big Raj: I'm glad you like it. It took a little while to do with the background, and I still didn't get all the results I could have.

Lil' Chimp: Yeah, I needed some tickling stuff to show I guess. There's some recent ones at the site too.

That seemed pretty left field, so why not. It's no masterpiece, just a super quickie.

NinjaBoi: Sola's in a coma until I figure out what to do with her again, or namely, until I have more time to plan something out for her. That's all I can say about that for now.

Derrida: Yeah, I was reading about that in NewType magazine. Isn't that supposed to be the second season or something? I hear the manga was comedy to begin with, and this is a welcome return for those fans. I'll check that out too, once I get through the initial series, hopefully. I get so many fits and starts trying to watch a new anime series, but my attention ends up waning at times.

Sakie: Thanks. I mulled over the color schemes for a while before settling with these. Color is important in these, and I usually beat myself up about these after the fact. Still, doing cel art can be kinda fun.

Excellent! Two scamwich originals in the same thread. Needless to say the color illustration is strikingly awesome, but I love that sweet pencil sketch too. Two big toes up! 😎

Absolutely Beautiful scamwich. I've always loved your artwork and this pic is no different, especially since I just started really getting into the series myself (BTW, I've seen up through disc 5 so far and it's still entertaining and a fun watch IMO).
Just curious, what do you think of Captain Testerosa (girl with grey hair). She's my fav in the series ^_^

Hey all. The pics are no longer in this thread, apparently. Anyone know what's become of them? I lost that Tisha quickie masterpiece Scam made for me all those years ago, and I'd love to have it again. Thanks.
