You are joking right? Gas prices in Europe are higher because the demand is far lower than in the US. The United States has a low population density compared with most countries. Transportation is a necessity here, thus an increased supply, and demand, which ought to lead to lower prices. The fact that the price here is over $3.00 a gallon is practically a crime.People in Europe are paying twice as much for gas as we are, so why the complaints? Besides, look on the bright side, it'll lessen the amount of SUV's on the road after a while. Then there will be more gas for everyone.
The only reason the US has lower gas prices is because our currency is the World Reserve. Once that is over, we will see hyperinflation and prices looking a lot like that in Europe.
