Ok, sorry for that title, I was just trying to sound scientifical, yanno?
Now over the years I've met and conversed with many a ticklephile online and in r/t, and I've been shocked on more than one occasion to hear that many of us have gone through extensive periods, sometimes years, (in some cases including adolescence), without tickling or being tickled. And I don't mean long sessions, just even the occasional poke amongst friends, etc. There has always been an abundance of tickle happenings in my life, whether family, friends, school, work or whatever. I always thought this was normal until I spoke to others. I've spent most of my life in California, northern to be exact, and it seems as though others from this area relate similar experiences. So I'm wondering if geography or socio-political climate might have anything to do with tickle opportunities? Yes, no, maybe so? What has your experience been and where are you from?
