so, eons ago in 2009 i posted a story about getting a pedicure with a friend of mine who shocked the bejeezus out of me by just about jumping out of the chair and laughing her head off. she was engaged to be married to a man she'd been with for years, and i was 2 weeks out of a seriously abusive lesbian relationship. she was a good friend and we went for my birthday.
long story short, she and i are dating now (there was no cheating on anybody's part, ever). she is the perfect woman. the first time we really had a chance to be alone, we were on my couch kissing and she immediately put her hands over her head (a consistent habit, i learned). Being as subtle as i am, i ran my fingers down from her elbows, which made her scrunch her nose and giggle. reflexively, i apologized for tickling, and she looked me dead in the eye and said, "no, i LIKE it"
so then i died. well, actually i think i turned beet red and hid it by going back to kissing.
after that we had a conversation in which i admitted how insanely ticklish my back is, and she listened and said, "i can't wait to tickle you there." again, i'm pretty sure i missed several full minutes of breath when she said this. girls NEVER talk like that, at least not to me - tickling is like the worst thing EVER to happen to all the women i've ever known, second only to perhaps venomous snake bites.
eventually i told her what it does to me when she says and does these things. she told me that i lucked out because she is SOOO ticklish, and she likes it - not like me, but i was still ready to propose right then. (i live in MA i can do that here).
she asked a lot of questions i really wanted to answer but actually got nervous to the point of being nauseous. nobody ever asked me before, it's always been my dirty secret. questions like: "is it the touching, like being touched, or the laughing, like doing it to other people, that turns you on?" and "do you like soft, light tickles or harder, squeezing ones better?" which i honestly couldn't answer cause i've never had anything substantial to compare to.
so that being the introduction, on to the tickling:
my girl really is ticklish almost all over, and she is very cute about it - all breathy giggles and scrunching her face, unless i really lay in and then she just throws her head back and laughs. but, as discovered in paragraph A, she has insanely ticklish feet - i've so far found one other spot that creates the same reaction, which is immediate unraveling. here are 3 tales.
1. this is also the first girl who ever allowed me to tie her up, which i think is so easy because she puts her arms up there anyway. so the first time i did it, i was pretty much dying to tickle her all over but, honestly, i'm terrified that i'm gonna make her NOT like it. so i manage to behave and enjoy the rest of the things to be enjoyed in these situations. until the end.
i was straddling her stomach, and reached like i was going to untie her, but instead rested one finger on her right wrist. i gave her a sly look and she immediately knew what was coming and broke into a huge grin. i dragged the finger slowly down her arm, and she turned away to hide her face.
when i got to her elbow, she started to beg: "oh no...not there. don't go below the elbow..."
i put 4 fingers down, right on the underside of her elbow and said, "what baby? not below the elbow? here?" and i tickled it a little bit.
she barely kept in a giggle and nodded, still without looking at me. i spidered my fingers just slightly downward, and she started shaking her head back and forth so i said, "how about just right here?"
"nononononono...." she started giggling so i said, "but baby, i'm not done yet! it'll be over soon, it's just a little tickle" and i swirled one finger further down her arm. "see? just a little one!" i stopped right above her armpit and sort of lingered there before dancing the other three into her pit.
she lost it and started bucking an begging, and "okokokokok"ing. i got all four fingers involved, lightly, for around 10 seconds with her totally losing her mind before she squeaked out, "OMG you're TORTURING ME!" which is when i immediately stopped, and let her go. i wanted it to go on longer but, honestly, i like not getting everything i want all at once.
2. i'm a looker and a toucher. that means i really like my women naked and all in front of me so i can touch while i look - not even being 'dirty', just getting to know all the curves and freckles and things. yeah, i'm that gay.
so i'm doing this and we're sort of chatting, and i run my fingers over her thigh and trail them around to the back of it - at which time she immediately chokes off her sentence with a shriek and just about knees me in the face.
i say, "Oh! what's that? is that a very sensitive spot?" and i touch the spot again, quickly, to tease her. she says, "OMG that is SO ticklish! i didn't even KNOW!" and she is giggling and all tense, waiting for me to do it again.
of course i did, i lightly fluttered my fingers on it and said, "what right here?" and she actually, while it looks like lightning just shot through her and she is almost screaming, says to me, "yes! there!" god, how wonderful. in seconds she starts with the "okokokokplease" business and, being as how minutes earlier we were having a very peaceful conversation, i let up. never underestimate the power of looking and touching, my friends. gay as it is.
3. so previously, i knew about 2 laughs, the giggle, like "teehee" flirtatious, totally innocent response and the "wow that's ticklish!" laugh which means that while this person is being tickled, they also are probably okay with it for another minute or so. but what i discovered recently is that there is a third type of laugh that starts off as the second type of laugh but, after a second, shifts registers and can only be described as "total loss of composure".
this is what happens to my gf when i tickle her feet. the first time this happened, i was in perfect position to grab and sit on her ankles when she made some smart remark. having no better response, i grabbed her and unabashedly scrabbled all of my fingers on her soles. she yelled out, "NO!" but fell back laughing, and when i pressed into the balls of her feet a little she started thrashing and her laughter became so desperate, so totally lost, that i was actually frightened and i stopped. i didn't want to actually TORTURE her.
probably the next day i told her about how her crazy-laugh startled me, and she said she didn't notice.
in closing, deepest apologies and utmost gratitude to anyone who made it all the way to the end of the fairly self-indulgent novella i've written. i just really had to work out this amazingness in writing, and i wanted to share with someone who might understand.
cheers!
