There were two Maine Coon cats at work a few weeks ago that were huge like this. Though neither of them appeared especially overweight, they were both the size of a full grown beagle and weighed almost 30 lbs.
Can you imagine having to clean the litter box of a cat this size?

wow that is a big cat.. I kinda feel sorry for it... its life will be greatly shortened beeing that huge.. why would any owner allow there loved pet to get that big knowing it causes medical problems and is gonna kill them..

Reminds me of a cat my friend had. It was so fat, it couldn't stand for very long because of the weight on it's legs. When it was time for it to eat, it would lay on it's side and shovel the food into its mouth with its paw(s).

Anytime I see an overweight animal, I envision the reincarnation of the mom from What's Eating Gilbert Grape.
