Gif maker help

Hey all, i know some of you have programs to make moving gifs or gifs that are captures from movies\tv scenes. I know some of you are experts at it like vlad but lookin for alot if info, whats a good program to use and a tutorial to teach a dummy like me. I wanna become a uber god of ytmnd.com

I think the term is Yarrr 😉 .
There are loads of programs out there to do gifs. Its just a simple combination of still pictures really 🙂 .
