Sounds very disturbing indeed. O____O Although I might watch it just to see the lovely Ellen Page, as I'm a fan of her acting.

I wouldn't. I consider myself thoroughly desensitised as far as violence is concerned. I can watch pretty much anything, up to and including Iraqi hostage beheading videos or that clip of some Ukranian kid caving a bloke's head in with a hammer. I can't watch An American Crime though, primarily because Ellen Page is so cute that every time I see her I want to wrap a blanket around her, give her a big hug and get her a nice mug of cocoa, so watching her screaming and crying for two hours is beyond my ken.
