While I agree it is somewhat milk-toasted to let a woman tell a guy where he can or can't go, this guy only joined the TMF a few weeks ago. It's not like he has invested a lot here. It's possible to be in love with somebody who doesn't share the interest, and if that's the case, it's his call to make.

I think it's one thing that if she was pissed because it was hidden from her. I think I would be upset -- although, very understanding -- if my boyfriend had a fetish that he wasn't willing to share. That's almost a break in trust; that says to me, "I don't trust you enough to share this with you, so I'm going to hide it instead." I have learned the hard way that hiding things in a relationship does nothing but cause more problems. That said, if revealed, it would be a conversation of, "There's nothing wrong with you. Explain this to me and what it does for you." And if it was something that freaked me out, or something I don't think I could deal with, then the relationship just wasn't meant to be.
But if she's pissed off BECAUSE you have a fetish, well, that's just totally ridiculous. What else is she going to have a problem with? This is just who you are -- who we all are -- regardless of the degree of fetishism. That's her being mad at for who you are.
All of this sucks. It's very easy for us to say, "Kick her to the curb!" when we're not exactly in your shoes. You chose what's best but keep in mind that it might be good to consider if you're sticking to this relationship for her, or to avoid loneliness.

I read it. I agree with most of it, especially the part that says we really don't have the full picture of what's going on between these two.
The part I don't agree with is that a guy is obliged to reveal his fetish to his significant other. I don't see this as a trust issue at all. It could be more like shame, embarrassment, or reluctance toward anticipated confrontation.

I saw this guy on another forum. Major cyber tickling posts were made by him about licking another members neck, & sounding like he was coupled up w her & etc. Seemed more than just flirt stuff. He also said stuff about his gf tickling him...so something doesn't add up. May b that was what she had a problem with...cyber tickling = cheating? OR...like some1 else said, the parents found out.

The internet being what it is, you can't ever really know what's gone down, unless you're one of the parties involved. People can type whatever they want, about their opinions, about themselves. We're not going to know the whole story.
I'm of the opinion that this person was young. I doubt the girlfriend even existed. I'm also of the opinion that at least half of the "kick dat bitch to da curb" posters don't have girlfriends or S.O.'s either, and would rather masturbate than compromise. Relationships with real people aren't about them accepting every damn facet of your sparkling personality as perfection. They're about finding where you're compatible, and dealing with where you're not. But, for some, it's easier to have nobody. Your hand, after all, never gets mad at you.

I see your point, but have to ask (on the assumption his story's true); don't you think her reaction was more than a bit extreme? Now, we'll never know the truth, but if (and that's a big "if") the story's true, most women I know don't want a pushover they can boss around. Not a real woman anyway! Needs to be strength and balance on both sides for the man and woman; without it you find yourself in a constant state of a pissing contest with your SO. Not a fun place to be!
Nothing a simple calm explanation couldn't fix, IMO. If she was still unreasonable, then I'd say, kick her butt to the curb! She's not the right one for you!
Ill speak for myself here...your half right and half off on what ya said there. At the moment no I dont have a girlfriend or sig other...and its by choice. I personally have been through the ringer with relationships throughout my life including a marrage that was prob the biggest mistake of my life. Ive let girlfriends walk all over me etc at various points in my life. Then one day, I woke up after being pushed too far and just fed up with it all, then also seeing several other people I know with succesful relationships.
The key I found out to those relationships is that they were happy with each other, accepted each other for who they are, and didnt judge one and nother. I myself was in a great relationship at the begining of the year, prob the best ever in my life..and its cause we accepted each other and were on the same page. That relationship ended due to reasons beyond both our controls, but someday, when the time is right, it very well could pick up where it left off.
Now sure, you dont have to LIKE everything about your other half...but accepting it is def a must. Im not one to settle for second best or desperate just to "have someone". I would rather be single the rest of my life and wack off than be with someone im not completely happy being with or have to hide things from. Like I said, been that rout many times in the past and I finally woke up and grew balls so to speak.
Now back to the subject on hand....after reading everyone's posts I def agree there could be a possibility that there is no girlfriend and girlfriend could = parents. But hell, it struck up a good discussion on other halves, sig others and relationship values anyhow 🙂

What if this was an oral sex forum and his gf wasn't into that and he is totally into it?
If you are really into something and your girlfriend/boyfriend isn't, it can create a void in your relationship. Then instead of concentrating on the releationship your trying to fill that void. I trhink saying kick her to the curb is extreme, but if this type of situation is real then both of them should reevaluate what is happening with them.
