Just tell us something about your surroundings whether its a restaurant, something historical, some kind of great scenery, or just an interesting, or little known fact about where you are from.
I'm pretty interested in historical aspects of different places; so I thought maybe a bit of whatever you find different, cultural, or wildly scenic from your area would help paint a bit of a portrait about where you come from.
No need for fully disclosing where that is unless you are comfortable doing so.
As for my own region; we are a very wet, and forested region in the United States, and few people people realize that we are a bit of a rain forest, and have many species of plants, trees, animals, insects, and off the wall weather patterns around here.
Many mountains, forests, hills, cabins, streams, valleys, coyotes, raccoons, and wild trees around here as well as some excellent bbq, and many places to just sit around and watch the clouds swirl by.
We have a bit of everything to do around here, and I'm betting that your region has something similar.
