Go Cleveland Indians!!

Finally..they have the Chance to make it to the top. first time since '01 and just a little bit in '02 (like april only). I so hope they take over first place from the Twins. These kids and omar have been playing some tough ball all year. the bullpen hasnt been the greatest..the starting rotation is getting better..minus westbrook who is still pitching superb! Who said Omar was washed up. hes batting around .305 with 6 hrs and 43+ rbi's. He can still make some of the best plays out in shortstop. Hes unbelievable. Cleveland is leading the league with Runs Batted In..its about 625 right now for them..last year they drove in 699 in 162 games..not too far behind last years team and they are only going into game 119 today. im not saying we are gonna win it all, but they sure did turn it on finally and surprise me. i will go as far as to say they will win the Al Central over Chicago and Minnesota. Last nite game was amazing..the fans (mostly frontrunners) showed up and rocked the stadium from what i could see on tv..game was sold out..I went to the first reds-indians game this year..they packed the stands and damn it reminded me of the late 90's when i went as a teen..yeah im only 20 now, but i remember the electricity..that fan base is what brings the guys to life..thats drives them to win. I hope Cleveland can keep up the fan base and go on to win this division. Its what the team needs! GO INDIANS!!! ~ 1 game back of Minnesota who they play at 1:05pm eastern today! ~ they will do it!

Yeah, the last couple of years the Indians had been stinking up the joint. I personally think it was those stupid "I" symbols on their hats. They played much better with Chief Wahoo on their heads, if you ask me! My son and his dad were at the stadium (first sell out in a long time) and had a great time on Saturday. Too bad they couldn't hold on to sweep those suckers.

The Browns are up to their usual, so I hope the Indians can hold on and work their way back to the big leagues. They looked really bad in the beginning, but I could be wrong about these guys. Good luck and go Tribe!!!😀 😎 😉

No it wasnt the "I" on the hat..it was the stupid owner Larry Dolan and his im broke and cant afford a good closer but can afford the beautiful 7 million dollar scoreboard..which has yet to help us win a game. Now these Young Gunnas with Omar and Wickman learned how to play together and they play pretty damn good. No big namers..just guys who can flat out play some ball. Omar Vizquel and Victor Martinez are my favorite players! The best announcer also calls the games on radio for the Indians. Tom Hamilton. if you havent heard him, you are really missing out on a game. I watch the game on tv..also listen to it on radio. its a lot of fun. GO TRIBE!!!

Unfortunately, conventional wisdom says your team will fade as September arises. The Wild-card is coming from Boston or the West. You don't have enough horses to get to the playoffs this year, but next year you will create havoc😀

We'll only wreak havoc next year if they keep the players in Cleveland and get some stronger pitching. If not, we'll be back at it again, rebuilding another team.

Larry Dolan is another cheap butthead like the rest of the Cleveland team owners who won't spend the real bucks for the real talent. Too bad I don't have their money--I'd buy half the NY Yankees if I had to.

NT, I remember some of those same comments about the Indians both times they went to the World Series in the nineties. I don't worry about it anymore. I watch the games on tv, so I'm not losing a dime either way. Go Tribe!!!😀

Yeah after like 10 years of disappointment from them..yeah we do have them! lol They will be good finally. Ive always rooted for them and the indians(also the cardinals).we got them clowns too.err i mean browns..i hate butch davis..just as much as dave wandstandts and ricky williams..yeah im a Phins fanatic! I still root for all my hometown teams tho. Also my Buckeyes! National Champions in '02!!

So the Indians are pounding salt big time. They'll make up for it later. The rangers owed them a butt-whippin' so I guess tonight's the night for it. We'll get them another day.

How about if we make up a great team like the one that went to the World Series in 1995? It's been nine years since my mom passed away today, and she was a true Indians fan, stats and all!!! She never got to see her Indians play the world series that october. I hope we get back in the loop soon!!

If I don't root for the Red Sox, the city of Boston will hang me. If I don't root for the Padres, nothing really will happen, cuz it's just weird for us San Diegans to have anything worth cheering in sports, so we're all in shock that we even have an inkling of a chance. I don't follow sports. I don't even know where the Indians are from. All I know is, it would be cool to have the Red Sox and the Padres go, and I hate Derek Jeter. Mmmmwah!
