And what do you look upon as godmodding?

About 2 hours ago another and I between us pretty much brought about the destruction of a universe, prevented it, then revealed the above never happened as the battle was shifted to another location a while beforehand.
And this was a side-point to the current fight involving what is currently to all-intents-and-purposes a sentient glass-storm, vs two gods and a half-bred mage who had his home blown up for a quick laugh.

And that pretty much covers the state of the pathetic revival of a godmodding thread that at one point caused the technical collapse of the fight due to the God of the internet being destroyed by the God of spam.

Pretty pathetic now i think about it... but triggering the events with a simple phase was hilarious...

In short to me godmodding means playing god, down to blowing up a universe, followed by using the other guy as the foundation for a new one...

I attribute my undefeated run at godmodding wars to a tendency to read fantasy, a large imagination, and a pack of Gods at my beck-and-call who among other things can helpfully shift people (i.e. me) out of harms way.

Pretty much, though in godmoddings, they either do nothing directly, or just get their butts handed to them, since when people play gods, the most powerful summon in any multiverse you name somehow gets problems ranging from the 'I toss him into the void', to 'i discorporate in a swarm of beetles, burrow into him, and exposively reform, taking a rather large chunk of him with me' (OK, so the second one i pulled off onto another godmodder, but the point stands. Also, making him pay for picking an 80ft draconic form was funny.).

Really, though summons are indirect in effect, or cannon fodder.

A flurry of rock and sand springs up from no-where, followed by an immense stream of molten magma.
The sand and rocks encase Odin, and this is encased further by the rapidly cooling magma, sealing the thunder god in.

A portal opens and the ensconced God is dragged though...

Um, that'd be good, except Thor was the thunder god.

Thor was the God of Thunder, yes, but Odin was a thunder God, basically meaning he did lightning (probablty so as to avoid demarcation), so storm god is perhaps more accurate...

Point is he uses lightning. Not helpful when encased in insulating hot rock...


Edit: Hmmm, you were using FF's Odin weren't you? That explains some of the mix-up...

Flurry of hellfireballs strike at shiva, followed by a cascade of lightning bolts. depensing on a response from he/she (i'm unsure here, FF normal as female shive, FFTA has a male version), the fireballs either strike home, ending the problem or collide with an icestorm, creating water, the perfect conduit, thus zapping shiva.
A second volley of hellfireballs melt the area around Shive imprisoning him/her.

Now i've actuially found out what the ---- those are:

+A cascade of lightning bolts strike the 'knights', their armours acting as conduits to blast multiple knights.
The few remaining are passed by a gust of wind, carrying upon it a fire that consumes them swiftly.+

Damnit all, I knew I forgot to do something when I summoned Ganon... doh!!! Since I'm an amateur when it comes to Norse mythology, I'll bow out except for this.

*opens Energy Sword at the sky as the shattered matter of Ganon swirls around the Sword, becoming purified in the process. The matter comes together and becomes Mjolnir. (I can't remember how to spell it...) Dogg tosses Mjolnir to Socks to use whatever way he chooses, then he throws a frag grenade to the ground and disappears*
