Alright, I think I'll let you in on what I did know, Watcher, I think it's been long enough(actually, I just wanted to see if you would react to the claim that I did 'something' while I was inside)*reaches in pocket and pulls out a rather large (as in too large to realistically fit in my pocket large) syringe with needle*

You, er...it ('heart'), have been infected with a heart virus! When this virus comes in contact with blood (or whatever else it uses to keep itself alive), it contaminates the substance with a somewhat concrete substance, causing the it to dry and harden. And of course, when the fuel for the heart can't flow, well, then the heart just goes to sh*t. Think of it like Inflammation of Atherosclerosis, but a little different.

Now since the virus takes a little while to really take effect, then I needed to bide my time, so I just kept 'it' busy with random attacks. But know 'it' should be feeling the effects of the virus, so yeah. And don't try saying that it doesn't work because the heart is an astral projection (because if it was, then it wouldn't be capable of interacting physically with, well, physical matter), or that it is immune to ALL viruses (aka those unknown to existance).
Oh, smart. Very smart. *Casts Big Guard on us in case he tries countering and infecting US with the virus*

Oh, yeah, hehheh, forgot about that part. Thanks. Though I'm not sure if we could just be infected with it, since it must be introduced directly to the blood substance.

*Opens mouth and considers making remark about how he could do it, but decides to keep quiet, since it would only give Watcher ideas.*

I think I know what you're thinking, but I'm not saying anything either. In any case, I have something that'll take care of that permanantly, just in case. *pulls two small vials out of pocket* By drinking one of these little babies, your blood will quickly develope an immunity to this specific kind of virus. These are the only two in existance, so here you go.*hands Socks one* Bottoms up! *drinks vial*

Ah, thanks man. *Drinks up too* Not bad. Tastes like Dr. Pepper.

Nice trick, failed for some reasons I'd said about before, but a nice try...and you're still aiming in too direct a method... think BIG (not a code, if you wondered).

1) The 'heart' was/is semi-solid i.e. you can pass into it, but it offers a little resistance. An so you stuck a needle into something you can walk though...

2) There is no blood. As stated before the 'heart' exists as a storage area for energy, it's 'lifeblood' and something therefore it is suicide to poison, what with the fact the Tempestus is made up of air in part...

The tempestus releases more beads in a similar fashion to raindrops... (soon 'carpet bombing' will have a whole new meaning if this works...)

OK, here's the way I see it. You say that it can be beaten, yet the truth is that while you can come up with a way to destroy it (or disperse it or whatever), if anyone else were to come up with that same idea, then you could simply fail it. I've been bored with trying to come up with something, knowing that it could just be failed. And no, it isn't like us just posting on this board were we can manipulate anything we want, it's the fact that I've just gotten bored with coming up with stuff. So yeah, I give up.

Now, Socks, perhaps you'd like to have a little sparing match, yes?

Sure, but first, one thing. *Picks up the beads that fell near us and rolls them back towards the heart.* If these things are as explosive as I'm getting the feeling they are, we don't want them anywhere near us. *Steps into a fighting stance.* Now, your move.

In that case, heres the answer: Air pressure. It was born of a storm, it breaks up the same way.

Alright, guess I'll make the first move then. *cast Quake, causing the ground to split open into a large fissure underneath Socks*

Ah, of course! The hardest answer is always the most obvious one, I guess.

*Hovers in the air for a second, then looks down. Looks back up, holds up a sign that says "YIKES!" then plummets down into the fissure.*

I think someone might have something to say about copyright issues there! 😀

*as Socks plummets down into the fissure, Cone casts Comet on it, causing the fissure to cave in completely, then waits to see what happens next*

*A muffled voice from under the ground speaks near you* Yeah, but I always wanted to do that trick. *Pulls out a flashlight and looks around.* Hey, there's gold down here!!!

Really? Well, by all means then, bring it up. Won't do you much good down there, now will it!

*Muffled voice* No, not really. *Looks down.* Hey, anyone lose a contact?

A contact, you say? I may have an idea who that belongs to. What color is it?

Actually, there's two. A bright neon green one and a clear one.

conehead180 said:
Hmmm, I wonder who those could belong too?!
Your guess is as good as mine. *Sets up an underground bank and transfers all the gold into my offshore account.*

I'll do you one better *flies up a bit into the air*

BTW, you've played Crono Trigger, right? Just thought about it since I'm about to start my 5,000,000 playthrough 😀

Perfect! HADOKEN!!! *A great burst of energy shoots through the ground, forming a perfectly round tunnel as well as pushing Conehead into orbit. I then walk up out of the tunnel.* Thank you.
Oh, and I actually haven't yet. I never had a Super NES, so I'll have to see about picking up the PS1 version.
