You misunderstand. In order for a vacuum to fuction, it must have an atmosphere to suck up. It is the pull of the atmosphere being dragged into the vacuum that takes other things along with it.

@ Nessie - It's explode - the internal pressure forces outwards against no pressure on the outside.

@ HDS - ah, I didn't actually know that. *Creates special hoover with the ability to still suck in a vacuum, calls it a vacuuuum (vacuum is pronounced "vac-yume"; vacuuuum is pronounced "vac-you-um", like continuum), and sucks up the ex-HDS sticky mess.

@ Hungarian - Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! I'm on fire!...*thinks*...again! *beat* Actually, this is kinda cool...*Turns the heat up to a constant hypernova level* Ohhhhhhhhh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.... 😀
