Good Bye Tickle Chair

Howard Stern gave away his Tickle Chair to a fan this week along with other momentos. His show is unlistenable now anyway, no effort , too much vacation etc. His wife Beth has completly ruined the show and sucked all the life out of it. Howard also pretends not to know who was in the tickle chair"Carmen Electra I think was in it I'm not sure". Jerk

I was bummed that he got rid of the tickle chair, especially since it wasn't that long ago that he had Little Lupe in it for a pretty good little tickling segment.

I think he's being honest that he doesn't remember who's been in it exactly. To us it's noteworthy when it happens, but to him it's just another segment, like throwing baloney at High Pitch Erics ass, and I'm sure it all blurs together in his mind.

I agree that the show has gone downhill steadily since he renewed his contract the last time, but I attribute it to his having a hostile relationship with Sirius. I think he didnt want to come back at all, and he felt like he had to for the sake of his employees. I can't imagine what Beth could have to do with it, except that any sane man would rather be with her than behind a microphone at 6 in the morning.

That is pretty disappointing. No reason to replace the tickle chair, at this point. He's produced thousands of segments, and he's never indicated that he's interested in the tickle fetish, so naturally his memory will be hazy in that regard.

I love Howard and his show. He is one of the most consistent show biz personalities of the past 30 years.

I'll *never* forget the first (and only, come to think of it) time he used the tickle chair when I was listening. I can tell you exactly where I was lol. Amazing.

I did not follow Howard to pay radio for financial reasons but anytime I hear clips on YOU TUBE he seems as sharp as ever. If it's true that his second marriage caused Stern to compromise his style, I cannot tell from what I've heard.

Too bad he ditched the Tickle Chair without ever having Robin Quivers and Beth Stern take a seat.
