Two days ago folks. I was chilling with my close friends. It was seven of us and it being the last day of school for some of us we had fun till late night. BTW we ended off watching the spongebob square pants movie cause we are HARD CORE (and I suggested it and think is kinds funny, lets fight if you have a problem) ANYWHO.... We got into a conversation on what we like in a girl/boy. Yeah there was a female with us but she is real cool. We came to the point where we were saying what attracts us to a girl physically. It was my turn and I BOLDLY said feet. Their reaction.........................:cry1::cry1:

lol Was normal. Like one of them said I got that foot fetish thing going. But not in a teasing voice. None of my friends laughed or got mortified. They actually said it is original and cool. Not even my female friend who let me massage them but was because she asked for one. Then we moved on to someone. So what you guys think of this huh. Ever had any luck revealing such info and gotten this wonderful reaction? Man feels good to be out in the open with them.

Well, I haven't done this with tickling, but I was in a similar situation where I had to let my close friends know something somewhat surprising (that I am joining the navy) and I was worried about their reaction. They were totally cool with it!

I think most of the time it is just overthinking things and psyching ourselves out, but good friends never hurt, either. So to answer your question: it is both.

I recently told my best friend all about the TMF and the whole shebang. She was getting upset that I was lying to her about where I was going when I'd go to gatherings and stuff (I'm a shitty ass liar - you can always tell when I'm not telling the whole truth), and she was really hurt. She would hear me talk about these new friends and wonder why I wouldn't introduce her to them and all that, so one day I just said okay here goes, swore her to secrecy, and told her everything. I didn't hold anything back, and I even took her with me when I went out to eat with about a dozen other TMFers in the area.

Her reaction was pretty fantastic. She asked alot of questions, as she didn't quite understand what I was saying. She felt like she was missing something because she didn't quite get that just regular plain old tickling was not only a fetish, but something about which I'd be embarrassed. After I explained everything to her, including the gatherings and talked about some of you crazy folks specifically, she was awesome about it.

She basically said as long as I'm being safe and smart she's happy for me. She was just upset that I'd lied to her for so long (i.e. my entire life). She even said she wished she had a fetish 😛 and that she had the guts to do something like this (being involved in the community going to gatherings etc). I showed her Viper's tickling video from NEST (with Cassi, Bella, Sapphire and Jo), explained to her about lees and lers (she said if she would definitely be a ler lol), bondage, gatherings, DMs and safety precautions, how it's sometimes sexual and sometimes playful, what the term "vanilla" means (she hates it - she said I have to call her peanut butter ripple or something LOL i love her).

Anyway, to make a long story short she was very receptive, and even has encouraged me to tell our other two best friends. I really couldn't have asked for a better outcome.

All my close friends know about my fetish. They don't care. 🙂 Doesn't bother them at all.

Skip forgot to mention how her friend immediately packed all her things and moved across country, changed her identity and entered the witness protection program.

She always leaves small details out. :wow: LOL!

LMAo Thats funny sandrock. And well skip like there is a half truth to tis thread. It is the foot fetish they know. as for tmf and all that umm...yeah

I don't normally refer to anything I like sexually as a "fetish". Just from studying psychology and hearing the connotations people use under the term makes me rolls my eyes just hearing the word now. lol. My friends used to use the term when they did find out though. One of my ex girlfriends and her friend I had "benefits" with said something to them about it and they said something one night about it and I was like "eh, didn't I tell you this already?"

Basically, one of my friends I grew up with was wondering why he never knew about it. I said that 1.) I had said before in passing how I liked to tickle my partners before sex and look at their feet. He just didn't pay much attention to it. 2.) I've never liked it when guys make a big deal out of sex, so I didn't tell them much about my sexual activity anyway. It sort of dawned on him that I never did talk a lot about my partners before. The only thing I really said was "yeah, we did it. It was awesome" or something along those lines.

You see, I had a friend in high school and junior high who wouldn't shut up every time he had a sexual encounter with a woman. After half an hour of him aggrandizing his blow job it made me think, "yeah, okay dude. She gave you a blow job. I get it. Now shut the fuck up about it, geez!"

Anyway, yeah they don't care. We never talk about it because I don't relate to them sexually, so its not really necessary. One of my more conservative friends was a little freaked out about it and thought because I liked girls feet that I might like guys feet too. lol. Just thinking about it is hilarious because he's such a dumbass about things like this. To this day, he thinks guys who have had anal sex with women are secretly gay.

Fortunately, the rest of my friends were a lot brighter than he was. In fact, when some of them heard about what a footjob was they were like, "hey, that's a pretty good idea!" I even remember going to the bathroom and hearing them debate about it. One of my friends said, "dude, that's so gross" and another friend was like, "nah, I think its pretty cool." As far as I remember, there was only two friends who were weirded out by it. Everyone else was kind of like "dude, that's fucking cool. Kinky shit, man!"

what the term "vanilla" means (she hates it - she said I have to call her peanut butter ripple or something LOL i love her).

I agree with your friend. The term vanilla is a bit dichotomous. As I've found out, people have huge shades of grey with sexual matters.

Hey Buddy!

This is what i've been trying to tell people all along. Most of the people on here really make this fetish out to be more than it actually is. No one ever gets as mortified as they think they will get. They usually react in the same way as your friends.

Way to Go man!! One step closer to coming to terms with yourself. :man:

A step in the right direction 🙂 Don't sell yourself short!

Thanks skip! Like in time. But also i wont torture myself with it thinking I am a freak or something.

Yeah man. Like it is funny. I did have to specify what i liked about the fetish. But luckily his tone was mellow and natural. And it sucks people tend to generalize the fetish we have either it be foot or tickle.

Thank you. Thank you man. And yeah like I think it is more of accepting it yourself rather then having other people accept it for you.
