This may seem somewhat silly to some, but I think true pet lovers will understand.
Last Wednesday, I lost one of my kitty cats. His name was Bobby and he gave me 3.5 years of wonder, fun, and joy. He got sick suddenly Weds morning and as I was taking him to the vet, he died in my arms.
He was 11 years old and was an unusual sort. If you were sitting down, he'd give you love and affection. If you walked towards him, he'd run in a total fear-panic! I affectionately called him my anti-social, psycho-kitty!
He also was a kitty with a foot fetish. I got my gratuitious foot rub every morning! He was a great companion and friend. Me and Buttons (my other cat) miss him terribly.
I know most people are not cat lovers. But for those who are, I know you can feel my pain right now.

He was 15 when I was 17, and passed away in his sleep.
I couldn't help crying.
