Gordie Howe Rest In Peace

Heard this this morning while watching the media coverage of Muhammad Ali's funeral. Sad to know he's gone, though he had been in declining health for a while. Anyone that can play any type of professional sport for 34 years is one remarkable athlete. RIP Gordie.

Never been a hockey fan, but you don't have to be to know Gordie Howe. And 34 years playing any sport, let alone hockey, at his level is astounding. That's a record that will never be matched in any major sport. R.I.P. Great One.
