Got a virus,any suggestions?

I have a virus now on my computer can anybody suggest a anti virus solution.It really irritates me that some asshole has nothing better to do than to piss people off.I would appreciate any help.

I would suggest you go here and download a free virus checker. Many people use AVG

You can also get an excellent virus checker from www.eset.com called NOD32. Its not free however. They do offer a 30 day free trial however and might even offer a free online scan or free virus removal tools for certain types of viruses that are out there.

www.doxdesk.com used to be a good place. if you use ie 5.5 or any later versions, it would automatically scan your browser when you went to the parasite section, then not only tell you what you had but give you step by step directions on how to fix it. i haven't been there in awhile but it might be useful to you.

1. Boot into Safe Mode with Networking
2. Go to www.ewido.com and run the free scanner three times. it might take a while but it's worth it.
3. Reboot into Safe Mode with Networking again and run it once more. Gotta be thorough.
4. THEN go install AVG Free 7.5, or pay the $70 to get the best protection the web has to offer you cheap bastard! 😛

Ewido + AVG knocks out almost anything except really bad rootkits and vundo viruses. if that doesn't work, let me know.

i suggest going to the hidden partition and totally reloading the computer.
