Daddy and I have some friends in a band called "Nobody Knows". They wanna change their name but I think it's classic cuz it could make for an interesting Abbott and Costello monologue. As for a made up name. I've always been partial to the name Angel Soft and the Poopshoots. BUT I have to admit that Vlad and the Impalers is hella cool!!!

This may be deviating from the topic a bit, but since you mentioned Angel Soft and the Poopshoots, I think they oughta do a cover version of the instrumental "Wipe Out." I can hear the groans from here.

I think they've since broken up, but there was a band a coupla years ago called John Couger Concentration Camp. That one always made me snicker.
There's another that also recently disbanded called The Jesus Lizard. Dunno exactly why, but that one seems really catchy to me.

When I was younger, I thought a great band name would be Heapo! Then, your band could come out with albums with titles like: Heapo-Trouble" and Heapo-"Shit" and Heapo-"Laundry", and on and on and on...

A band that was popular here in Tucson used to play reggae versions of Led Zeppelin songs... they were called Dread Zeppelin.
