Well I was just interested in seeing how many people that ARE here have their lap-tops with them because I'm looking around but don't know who's with us and who is not, and I'm certainly not going to walk up to someone and ask them.....
Which brings me to a question for past attendees: Ever been any strange situations with Vanilla guests in the hotel?

Ha. I remember last year kind of glancing at people and then shyly saying...are you here for NEST?

And there was a sign in the elevator saying where the NEST headquarters were and I was riding up with some vanilla people who were trying to figure out what NEST was.

I bet they figured it out soon enough.

I remember my first NEST by proxy....

I'd encouraged a bunch of shy newbies to attend..."Go, meet my friends, you'll have a blast..." The first night, I kept getting all these panicked messages~"OK, I'm here...NOW what the hell do I do?" "Find my posse, ask for Dan, Jan, Tero..." I told them. (I'm sure those 3 LOVED me for that one.) Hee hee~but everything turned out fine and a blast was had by all,

Ugh...

It's 12:30am and I'm finally here... after a snafu over my first flight, a re-routing and delay of my connecting flight. 5 hours after I was to arrive, but I'm here! Yea! 🙂

And I'm sooooo not tired now. I've been sleeping all day on planes and my body thinks it's still in California!

Glad you made it! I've always wanted to go but been on duty. I had a chance many years back when it was new and at someone's apartment. I had wanted to see the small Kujman toe bondo demo done there I heard about later and drooled over. He's the orignal and best for sure. Must have been great fun. Missed out on those days.

What's it like now? Bigger place I hear. Hope you had your funtime and didn't spend it on the laptop!
