anyone else just love this game or what? can anyone do cliffs of dover, number of the beast or one on expert...i can do almost everything else...just did stricken and 3's and 7's recently...also any techniques you guys might have to get through those tough songs would be helpful

Guitar Hero III RAWKS mah SAWKS!!!

I've only played it for like a month, so I'm not that good. Can do maybe 2/3ds of the songs on Hard, and a few on Expert. Three-note chords and crazy-fast solos are definitely where I need the most work, since my fingers can hardly keep up with them (at the moment). I can't do Number of the Beast or Cliffs of Dover on Hard yet, though...crazy stuff... >.<;;

My favorite song to play (abeit somewhat easy) is "When You Were Young" by The Killers. Nailed it five stars on Expert, perfected it on Easy, Medium, and Hard. Loooove that song to bits... 😀

No need to hang thy head. In my experience most people play on either Medium or Expert: probably because the hurdle between Medium and Hard is the biggest pain in the ass out of all of them.

Anyway, I love GH3, and Guitar Hero in general. I've beaten it on Hard, but on Expert I pretty much get my ass handed to me starting around Tier 6 or 7. Difficult solos and the quick transitions between 3-note chords kill me. Hard is my comfort zone and where I have the most fun playing.

Rock Band is dope also.

But if I had to choose..I would choose Guitar Hero.

I don't have a specific favorite song..I have a lot of the 'packages' and what not.

But on easy, I loved slamming people into the ground with DragonForce.

One by Metallica will always be a favorite...Just 'cus.

I'm ashamed that their next installment will be only Aerosmith songs..Yeah..decent band..But no need for a whole new game of just them.

It won't be all Aerosmith

It will also include bands that were inspirational to Aerosmith. I'm pretty excited about it. They're just throwing something at us to tide us over until GHIV (which will be an awful lot like rock band, in case you live under a rock and missed that announcement). The Aerosmith game is kind of like Rock the 80s was... though I pray it's better.

GHIII is great. I have beat everything on expert except for raining blood. Anyone playing on a PS3?? Love to have an online duel some time!

I'm waiting 'til Metal Gear Solid 4 comes out to get one. Plus by then it'll come with rumble packs so HELL YEAH!!

I own on Medium but anything above that isn't fun to me anymore. That's what a real guitar's for. 🙂

I like Guitar Hero, really fun game, but Rock Band is more fun. You can only get 2 people at a time playing Guitar Hero, whereas 4 can play Rock Band. Guitar Hero is fun to do by yourself, but if you are having a party or hanging out with friends then Rock Band is much better and I think it has better music to be honest.

Yeah, guitar hero was great until i realized how stuck i was. I'm actually pretty good at it, but i can't reach that last button at all. But yes, GHIII is an awesome game, too.

Oh no. I totally don't mind. I do like Aerosmith. I don't love Aerosmith though. Not enough to make me wanna run out and buy the game the day it comes out. I might wait a few months 'til I can find it used.

I think the best thing would be if, just like Aerosmith, you had to play several set lists on drugs. Kinda like the Boss Battles in 3 where your fret board goes all crazy and stuff.

amp overload.. my hell.. taking out the last boss on GH3 took a good 2 hours of solid try after try, drugs my have helped the frustration...
