I'm hoping someone in this vast and diverse forum will be able to help me.
I was diagnosed with a gum allergy -- referring to fruit pectin, vegetable cellulose, carageenan, and other forms of gum that occur naturally in plants. I'm seriously ill and need to determine which fruits and vegetables are and are not appropriate for someone allergic to gum.
There seem to be no American allergists still studying this allergy, and I've been unable to find help. I'm hoping someone here has heard of or dealt with this.
Any replies appreciated.
