I remember being a teenager and being completely shocked when "Terri *******" turned out to be a crusty middle aged guy. The funny thing was, he was the assistant principle of my friends high school. I don't think we'll ever know what motivates people to do what they do. But whenever a fetish is involved and people aren't prepared to be honest with themselves about it, lying and deceiving is usually in no short supply.

It wasn't hard to figure out what motivated that guy. He was gay, had a raging tickle fetish and wanted videos of hot young men being tickled. No doubt he figured unsophisticated young men would gladly have themselves filmed being tickled if they thought the video was going to a bleach-blonde babe like the one whose picture "Terri" borrowed.

I've never quite understood the appeal of gender misrepresentation, but I have lots of fun with it!

I let them get all sorts of hot and heavy, and then right at their obvious peak I say, "So, not that I care, but what it is that gets you so excited about pretending to be a girl?"

When I was in the chatroom before I lost Java Compatible I heard from many TMF members about someone named nina21. He was a guy who claimed he was a 21 YO girl who looked like the daughter on the Sopranos. I think he was found out by the time I joined the TMF, but he was notorious. All he wanted to do was cyber with guys, and when a guy found out he was a member of the same sex he would get ugly, belligerent and threatening.

I ran into a few people in the chatroom claiming to be women. After few minutes of private chatting it was pretty clear they were men. Rarely did I call them out because I sort of felt sorry for them, but I ignored them and I believe most of them put two and two together. Being a female I never got the gay guys posing as women, but I got the straight guys who tried to lure women into cybertickling (which I wouldn't do) on the assumption that girls would think it was safe and/or innocent to cyber play with another female.

I understand the allure of cyber-tickling. You get to be interactive in the erotic story, instead of just an audience member. You can control certain aspects and outcomes of the virtual reality fantasy.

I just feel it seems to be a crutch or a last resort for people who don't have tickling in their every day lives. And, that's fine, but personally, as a lee' I get none of the things I love about tickling from cybering, especially if the other person is only interested in getting off or has no grasp of eloquence or creativity. I'd rather read some TK fiction.
