What do you plan on doing for Halloween? I'm having my 33rd B-Day party. That's right. I'm born on Halloween. Sunday October 31, 1971.

I will be visiting relatives in New Jersey on October 31, but not because it's Halloween.

Making my hit list. Because my freezer is running low with ''Body parts'' so all the dried up blood is clogging up the freezer. So i think its time for some fresh meat 😀

😛

freezing to death while i hand out candy to little munchkins who will be dressed as spiderman.

Eh, you know...giving magic lollipops to the neighborhood youngsters.:upsidedow

Waking up late after a night out... going to work... going to church... the normal things I do on a Sunday. But thats not surprising considering we don't acknoledge Holloween in Australia 😛

You stinker!

we know you're hogging them all for yourself!!!

Me, just handing out to the kiddos, Sunday's my day to "gear up" for a busy Monday (my busiest day of the week!)
XOXO

Hee Hee! I'll be like that owl in the old Tootsie Roll Pops ads, "How many licks does it take to get to the center?".:wiseowl:

nothing. I don't celebrate Halloween, I celebrate Harvest. Though I did want to dress up as Lucy Riccardo

I wanted to go out at hit my favorite club for their annual Halloween and costume party (ALWAYS a blast), but can not this year due to the fact they had a fire earlier in the year and just completed leveling the club to the ground. 🙁

So instead Lazarus and I are gonna hit the theater and see "The Grudge", which I am especially exicted about now after reading the reviews some TMFers were kind enough to post. Then we'll be taking my little Renaissance Princess (my daughter, complete with flowing white velvet gown, gold lace trim and crown) throughout several of our favorite neighborhoods to bag as much candy as she possibly can. Afterwards I'll be raiding her candy stash. 😀 (she's such a doll about sharing..hehe)

Hopefully the weather will cooperate this weekend!

Mimi 🙂

The way they practice, its not either, but it depends on what they cast for....

Oh how fun Lime!

I have friends that call me a "natural witch" I study this stuff a little but find it really interesting. Black moon, true magic is neither black nor white, BTW...🙂

XOXO

That is not what i have heard.

yea theres no set black and white, its the intention of and whats in your heart when you cast

We've got company coming for the weekend (AffectionateDan, AylaNY and the Venrays). So, we'll be having lots of food and fun with them Saturday and part of Sunday.

After that, we'll just relax and enjoy all the little ones coming around. Since we're new to the neighborhood, I had to ask how many to expect. Looks like we plan on 50-60 kids...and then a few of the older ones who come a bit later. Got lots of goodies to give out. So, I hope the weather is good for them to come!

Even though I really don't know you, OVDA, other than on line, it comes as no surprise that you were born on Halloween...😉 😛 . Since I am not going to be around or on line that day or night at all, I will take this opportunity to wish you a happy B'day now.

Patti aka shygirl and I are heading to Great Adventure for Fright Fest for the afternoon and night.

Planning on going in costume (makeup actually)

Halloween in Manhattan

Many parties going on in the City that night (New Yorkers don't believe in such a thing as a school night!), but I've opted instead to spend it at a Japanese karaoke place I frequent, in the East Village, where I'll meet a couple of good friends (inc. bartenders).

BTW, I'll be a fetish Playboy Bunny this year, black bunny ears and all!

Druid Ceremony

I'll be involved in a druidic ceremony around the time of halloween... actually, it will be taking place over a three-night period, after which I anticipate being very, well, tired. And sooty.

Ugh... "Is it black or white magic?" Yeah. Okay. Magic is power, raw power, it's not good or evil. This is a basic concept, here. The only people who practice "black" or "white magic" are silly little teenagers who have no idea what the hell they're doing and like to run around and say "teehee! I'm a WITCH!" Or Wiccan, which they typically don't know anything about being beyond the name.

I had one of those in my high school. The only "Wiccan" thing she did was complain about the halloween decorations that depicted witches on brooms with warty faces. She got awfully pissed when the five or six of us who actually knew something about what we were getting into failed to back her up. The administration, in a very surprising gesture, went to the other openly pagan students and asked them how they felt. We unanimously replied that we honestly couldn't care less (the language varied from one individual to the next, they didn't round us all up into the same area first).

If you point your finger at someone and say, "heal him!" you're doing something good.

If you point your finger at someone and say, "give him smallpox!" you're doing something bad. And pathetically stupid. Apparently somebody in my high school was fairly stupid... that girl who complained broke out in warts three days later. Either somebody arranged that, or the goddess got mad, which is always a possibility... she's not as nice as the New Testament Jehovah, she's more like a traditional-values mother with a very big paddle.

Y'know what I always found interesting? That Christian study which was done regarding how far people will go to maintain a "primitive" belief in magic. They came out with something along the lines of "magic can apparently fail 90% of the time and people will still believe in it." Fancy words, considering that in their own studies magic not only failed to, well, fail, half as often as that, but it worked more often than the prayer they asked people to try an even-handed amount of the time instead.

The world is a much larger place than people like to think.

Yes. A true witch would never cast for evil ("black" magic) as they know it comes back on you. Just like karma!

XOXO

I"m in costume right now. Introducing crydun as Lucy Riccardo!!!!!
