Hangman

Only Ronley gets a letter. 😛

_ E S _ _ A / _ _ S _ _ S

Letters used: E S A

None: N T R O L B

Indeed. 😀

_ E S I _ A / _ I S _ I S

Letters used: E S A I

None: N T R O L B

D?
I suspect another proper name, like "Dayton axe," your last atrocity. 😛

I take no responsiblity for solving puzzles that contain a proper name.

Once again, Ronley is the only correct guesser. 😀

V E S I _ A / _ I S _ I S

Letters used: E S A I V

None: N T R O L B G D Y

P.S. It's my puzzle, so there. 😛

vesica piscis? 😀

(I looked in an online medical dictionary; Xodlirv was correct, it is a medical term.)

Maybe in future we should limit these puzzles to things the average person is likely to encounter in their lifetime. :wowzer:

Or at least to things that can be found in an unabridged dictionary. Ordinary dictionary, that is, not medical or other specialized dictionary. 😛

Your guess is correct, Mils. However, it's a mathematical term, not a medical one: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vesica_piscis 😀

I suppose I should've used its English translation of "fish bladder" instead of the original Latin word. Sorry about that. 😛

Your puzzle, Mils. :rotate:

An abundance of A, amigo?

And Alex, I was just kidding. All's fair in love, war and Hangman (and this is two out of three)!

Actually, I think you made a good point. My last two puzzles have been rather difficult to solve. 😛 You were also half-right: Vesica, by itself, is a medical term. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/vesica 😀

Back to the current puzzle: S? :Hyrdrogen

One A and one S, but no R, no T, and no M. 😀

S-----/-A--

Letters used: A, S

None: R, T, M
