Thank you all...
Needless to say, this is the last thing I would have wanted to have happen on my birthday next to my own mother passing. This morning was tough, Judy came out and gave me a birthday hug, and my eyes began to water because I knew that today was probably going to be her last day. My kids came out with a self made birthday card, and I was touched. Just as I was getting ready to leave for work, Judy wished me another happy birthday, and, right there, I just lost it.
When I got to work, I had a few co workers wish me a happy birthday, and after dinner, Judy saw to it that I got a cake. In spite of all this, I still celebrated my birthday with my family, which is really all that I could ask for with everything going on.
Actually, when Judy celebrated her birthday this past Oct, my mother was going to take us out to a really nice Italian resturant, but those plans got side tracked because Judy's mother was arranged to come home from the hospital at the last minute. As a result, Judy stayed back to be with her while I took the kids to my mother, so I wouldn't disappoint her.
We both have some making up to do for our birthdays in light of everything that happened this year.
Let me take another moment to recognize each of you individually
Ann- this was a very thoughtful gesture on your part to start this thread. With everything going on, I really appreciated every birthday wish I got that much more. It was definitely a silver lining in an otherwise dark cloud.
Venray- I know with friends like you and Tracy (the same can be said for Ann and Drew) it will help us get through this most difficult time that much easier. I love you guys!
Natural- Thank you for your well wishes (although today wasn't all that well). I hope one day we can meet IRL because you really seem like a cool guy.
Isabeau- Thanks again for all your kind words. They really mean alot. We will definitely keep in touch.
Mils- Yes it is a trying time right now, but I know that we will get through it. It's always nice to hear from you as you are a true gentleman.
Kurch- We haven't spoke directly, but I know you are a very prominent member of this community. I am honored to hear from you. Thank you
Mimi- I know in the past I have mentioned that I really enjoy hearing your input. Well, I must reiterate them. You definitely bring alot to the table, and your bubbly personality is definitely an asset to this forum. Plus I love your sigs you do for people, and cards you pass along. I hope everything is well with you, Laz and your family.
Thank you all, again.
