"Axe" is affectionate slang for an electric guitar. To those musicians too numerous to mention here, including but not limited to the "Daves," I apologize in advance if I have insulted your intelligence. In short, neither Dave nor I advocate the use of wood cutting tools as tickling implements. Too hard to build a trust bond that way. LOL!!!😱 😕
