Happy Birthday Lynda Carter...

Today is Lynda Carter's 59'th birthday. So here is to one of the most beautiful women of all time, who has aged like a fine wine. Most of Ms. Carter's contemperaries are more plastic then a barbie doll, and still don't look half as good. You will always be Wonder Woman to me.

But I always loved her as Wonder Woman also, she *is a great actress & a natural beauty --- You're right, she aged (Wonderfully :xpulcy:

Maybe it's still the kid talking who considered her a huge talent, but I think she really is, she was very convincing even in other roles, though I've only seen her rarely since then --

(And I knew the difference as a kid --- Shatner's the perfect example, THAT acting was so bad :facepalm:

I can't believe she STILL is so beautiful. Just stunning. How can you not be in love when introduced to such a woman ?

If you wanted to see her in some slightly more recent stuff, she played Chloe's mom on Smallville a few years ago, and a few years befor that she was evil incarnate on two of the Law & Order shows.

Wait... I can be a little slow sometimes... you thought Shatner's Kirk was smug and sexist, but you liked the drunken swaggering, loser who tries to pick up Uhura simply for sexual purposes in a tavern? On top of that he is arrogant enough to tell 4 Star Fleet cadets that they should get more guys so "it will be a fair fight". Don't forget the fact that Kirk is a drunken swaggering loser because his mother was an incompetent parent more concerned with advancing her career then she was in taking care of her son. Nice to see you are looking at everything objectively.

If anything they turned Kirk into a complete loser, and on top of everything else they picked a shitty actor to play him.

Ohhhhh no ---- THAT was a GOOD actor playing a brilliant, infinitely improved CONTINUATION of Shatner's Kirk ---
Remember they not only acted the part but in most cases were continuing the old character ---- Quite a challenge...
