I have been studying the interaction on the forum recently (as many here realize I have been away from the forum for some time) and see you are quite active here. From what I have observed, you seem to be "good people." Always a pleasure to find that in here in our "community." Likely a fine musician too. Do you have a web presence for your work(s)?

You, (and I'll bet, daddy) and I know that is an extraneous, but extremely flattering, compliment particularly among guitarists. And yes, I agree, Dave. King Kobra STILL kicks ass!

Just in case any of you are wondering what the band I'm in, Twilight, is doing these days...it goes a long way to explain why I've been away from the forum. Heck, four of the tunes on the new CD are even in TouchTunes jukeboxes!

And to those who may have responded while I was composing this or sometime thereafter? I didn't forget ya. I'll be back on later...after the concerns of the workday subside a bit.

you're welcome, isabeau{E}...most folks would classify us as being "heavy without the hard edge." Been known to sneak a ballad in there or fuse progressive metal with some "unlikely genres" too (one of our reviews stated "...some untipical funk improvizations..." which refers to the song titled Who's Who ) so...please feel free to click on the Twilight link and check us out. I'm thinkin' you're likely to enjoy what you hear, based on what you claim your tastes are...thanks for your interest, isabeau{E}

daddy, kewl you get to meet and jam with ex King Kobra guitarist, Mike Sweda,...he's a much better guitarist than Michael Wolfe (whom you probably know he replaced) IMHO...and I'd be interested to know what the other guitarist, David Michael Phillips, is up to these days too. I heard what came of Mark "aka Marcie" Free...choices...go figure, eh?

Not been hard to track Carmine Appice in the industry...he gets alot of fanfare whereever he goes, it seems. In light of what happened to KingKobra, I think it was a smart idea for him to join John Sykes and BlueMurder, at the time. Carmine was always destined for much acclaim among rock drummers.

Same could be said of Johnny Rod, come to think of it.

But...alas...I digress...thank you to ALL who responded for adding to the enjoyment of my birthday celebration. Being reminded of having such good friends tends to make it a VERY special day.
