Well, as I've posted on here before, 2003 has been a very difficult year for me, and Iam greatly looking forward to Wednesday at Midnight when I can say goodbye to 2003, and welcome 2004 with open arms. As I've posted on here before, everything which could possibly go wrong has gone wrong for me this year. From a cancer scare with my mother to angioplasty heart surgery with my father, business setbacks and severe disappointments, financial issues, etc etc, this will be a year I will want to forget as quickly as possible. Thankfully, knock on wood, my parents health issues seem to be settled, so they appear to be stablized heading into 04, hopefully. As for my work and business, I have major decisions to arrive at in January as to whether to stay in my current work situation or not. Life could be very different for me in 2004 than it is now, hopefully for the better. The one constant I have had through this very tumultuous year is my good online friends at the TMF, my close real life friends, and my mom. You guys have been an important support system and sounding board to me through this very rough year when I know I have sometimes bitched a little to much at times, and I just want to say thanks to everyone. I want to wish the TMF community a happy healthy prosperous 2004. May life be good for myself and for all of us.

Mitch

Right you are, Mitch. 2003 couldn't possibly suck enough 😡
I can't wait for next year to begin. In fact, on New Years Eve, it's just me and the Miz cozying under a blanket, eating popcorn, watching a movie. I plan to avoid all temptations in seeing just how far down his face Dick Clark's plastic surgery has drooped, and I have no interest in seeing what totally cool groups he has on his telecast, either. Knowing him, he's probably thought of booking Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods for a reunion show.
I know we've got 'Finding Nemo' cued up to run...I have to get another couple of movies as well. Should be good...

I plan on spending new years eve hitting the clubs. Definetly gonna be a special night.

Have a good time cozying up with the Mrs on New Year's Knoxie, and I hope 2004 is a much better year for you as well. I know you've mentioned to me several times that this has been a rough year for you.
As for me, I will just watch the ball come down, but dont plan to watch Clark's whole show. I used to when I was a kid, but not anymore. Every year from 1976 to 1997 I always watched the ball. Then, weirdly enough, in 98 and 99 I was in the movies at midnight on New Year's so I didnt see it. Since Y2K, I have watched it each year, and will again. I plan to be in front of the TV to boot 2003 out and welcome 2004. I look forward to a much better year next year.
Krokus, I hope you enjoy your party. I dont often do that on New Years, but my parents used to a lot when they were married. Often I will just hang with a friend, but I know parties are fun. Happy New year, Krokus.

Happy new year to you as well. Everybody dance!~

Mitch and Knox, I really hope 2004 trated you better than 2003. I know personally that 1993 was my worst year. My father died and my mother was diagnosed with cancer. Fortunetely today, my mother is still around. Let's hope that continues (knock on wood).

for me, 2003 was a great year highlighted with the arrival of my daughter.

For everybody at TMF, may this year be the best one yet.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still ahvent figured out what Im doing tonight, besides power ball tickets

Kiss me, I'm Canadian...

2004's gonna suck too, y'all.

Just holding my breath and waiting for 2005.

Bring on the chicks!!

Cheers.😀

Best wishes for a good, if not great '04, Mitch, and you too, Knox, ya ol' sod. I know '03 has been trying for both of ya. The one nice thing about being on bottom is that there's only one direction to go.

And a belated "Happy Daddyhood" to ya, Giantfan!

Stick around, Dan. When ya reach my age, the years seem more like days. By God, I'm depressing to talk to, ain't I?
