Ah, it's Christmas morning...
A time of momentary peace. Momentary. Soon we're gonna get dressed and go to sister-in-law's house, where we can partake of some yucky breakfast (quiche and some dark sweet bread) and watch the kids open overly priced presents that they're gonna play with for fifteen minutes and then forget about.
Later on, we go to her aunt and uncle's house. I was told that these people will be opening presents for the next three weeks. My attitude is if I'm not opening a present, or if you aren't opening my present, then watching it can get pretty dull after seeing it for four hours.
I guess I'm rather unhappy that I have to go to work tomorrow, even though work might consist of playing touch football there behind the bays with the mechanics who don't have any cars to give oil changes to or to replace ground up timing belts on. I'd rather stay home. Come to think of it, I wish I could stay home today, and not go anyplace, and just play with my toys under my tree for a change...
Oh, well, who is Knox The Hatter if he isn't moaning and groaning about something?
My very, very best to everyone here...the people here who have become my dear friends, the folks I go back and forth with, even those who I argue with. I look back on being here as one of the better things that's happened to me in 2003...
