Tough ones...

Off the top of my head, here's some thoughts (I numbered yours, since I hate copying it all over)

12. The car was a convertible with the top down
15. Say "Whoa!"
16. Poison?
17. Halfway. Then he runs out.
18. I want to be boiled in water.
21. Penguins are found only in Antarctica.
22. If he was born before 1776.
23. Vowels
24. Mother
25. Infinite steps - the door will never be "reached"
28. The letter "e"
29. Sponge
32. A clock
33. A last name
38. One thousand
39. Fingernails
41. Coal

Yikes....less than 50%. But it's late....

The one about the Pope, the answer is a last name 😀
The riddle about the holes is a sponge
The one above the riddle about the holes/sponge, is the letter E
The greater than God, more evil than the devil is nothing
The one about not being a US citizen, the person was born before 1776
The leaps and runs, is a year

Not bad, desdemona and Limeoutsider! 🙂 Now I'll answer Riddle #19:

ShiningIce said:
King Tut died 120 years after King Eros was born. Their combined ages when they died was 100 years. King Eros died in the year 40 B.C. In what year was King Tut born?

After doing a bunch of math, I figured out that King Tut was born in 20 B.C. The funny thing is, this doesn't tell you either king's age! You can pick when King Eros was born and when King Tut died at will, as long as both dates are 120 years apart. (For example, say King Eros was born in 100 B.C. and King Tut died in 20 A.D., and so on.) 😀

I'll try to answer some of these later, but I don't quite feel like it right now. So I'll just add one that I like:

What is it that the maker doesn't want,
The buyer doesn't use,
And the user never sees?

Have fun! Mwah!

A coffin

My thoughts...

13.Thursday
14.Too wise you are. Too wise you be. I see you are too wise for me.
18."This statement is false."
36.Samantha had $30. Sabrina had $50.
