Problem solved indeed! I mean, after 30 years of pride marches we can now say that discrimination has been successfully vanquished. 😛 Seriously, these have achieved nothing, save for an outstanding display of bad taste and the annoyance of the neighborhood. I am glad I live in a country where this kind of stuff is banned.
I do not dispute the reason behind it, mind you. Discrimination, real or perceived, is an awful thing. I have been a victim of racism a few times in my life, but I have never felt the need to parade under a giant banner with a swastika, a megaphone in my hand, yelling "white pride". That's just absurd. And I surely don't want that to happen to our community (we'd replace the swastika with a feather I suppose ^_^).
