I’ve told someone about my fetish. We definitely had some fun with him tickling me, but now I’m worried he will expose me since we are no longer together? Has anyone experienced this?
 
My exwife has not said anything, and it was a big deal for me. Personally i wouldnt worry.
 
I think it depends on what type of person they are and how you two parted. I've been fortunate no one ever has said anything about me in my past.
 
I used to be embarrassed by it too. It certainly could happen - but it's not really anything worth getting worked up over. If anything, it's on him for spreading rumors about an ex - that sort of thing is generally frowned on in polite company. I'd say that if he did try and expose your interest, that would reflect poorly on him and make other people unsure if he's trustworthy if he's willing to bring up the secrets of a former significant other.
 
Yes I have. But never from any former significant others. I agree with the above statement that it would probably reflect more poorly on him in polite company.

fortunately no. I have actually had pretty good experiences. The best one being able to tickle a girl who accidentally witnessed me tickling someone else.

I don't think it has ever happened intentionally, but I've had partners bring it up in a way that was embarrassing or hurtful. One example was when I was watching a show with my wife 2-3 years ago and it was revealed that a character had been paying a sex worker to come to his office and tickle him. There was a lot of poking fun at that character in the show and I said something like "man, I'm feeling a bit attacked here" and my wife (not knowing the extent of my fetish I guess) responded with a confused look and "you like tickling that much?!" and I just kind of brushed it off and didn't respond. Another time was when talking with an ex a few years after our breakup and kink play with our new partners came up in conversation. Ive never personally had it happen to me. I dont think i would react to it if an ex tried to use my fetishes to embarrass me, because its not something that would seem relevant to a lot of folks. It would honestly probably make the other person seem like a bit of a douche, because kink shaming is an overtly unkind thing to do and i imagine that people would pick up on it.

If i were in that position i would probably:

3. just call it out, 'what are you trying to do' or 'what is this'

Bullys respond how you respond. If you give them a reaction that they want, it will often encourage them to continue. Im petty, and i like to bully the people who try to bully me because im better at it, but you dont have to do all that. You can simply respond with neutrality and pragmatism.

They were both fetishists, but there was a certain area of overlap and certain areas that were not, so they had to compromise. We are much, much more sexually compatible as we both happen to both be fetishists with similar areas of interest (feet, bondage, tickling).
