Thanks Mimi, but I'll be doing what I've been doing for many years--nothing! Except attempt to go to the gym, that is! I've been sick since Tues, and it's really been pounding me. Even if I had someone to spend Valentines Day with, it would do me no good.

Hope you and Lazarus have some great Valentine's Day tickling fun!! Get a few in for me!!!!!!!😀 😉
 
I have adored Mimi since day one; a marvelous Valentine she would be...I always thought Mr. Lazarus to be a rather fortunate man...

Today, Mrs. Knox gave me a wonderful Valentine's gift: season one of 'Rocky and Bullwinkle' on DVD. Always my favorite cartoon when I was a kid, and beyond...

Something I always think about, at this time of the year: Mrs. Knox is the very first woman I ever bought red roses for. It was two and a half weeks after we had first met, and I found myself at a local florist, looking at flowers, and the young girl behind the counter (all of fourteen in those days; she was the daughter of the owner, who I frequently shot pool with back in high school, in a beery haze) said, as I looked at the red ones, "ah, you know what those mean, don't you?"
I looked at the roses, and said, "yes. I do."
"You buying?"
"Yes, and I've never been more serious..."

And I've bought the red roses ever since.

Not much going on here for plans for Valentines day except working and for some rest and relaxation for after work..
 
Well, I guess this is the first time in years I haven't had an official "valentine" but in some way you're all my valentines and I love you for it!
