have you ever heard this?

there is this old wives tale that goes, if you tickle a baby's feet they will grow up to studder when they talk. now i do studder some and my feet are very ticklish and have been tickled my whole life. truth in this? no i don't think so but was wondering if anybody has heard this too? 😕

i hav'nt quite heard it that way before..but sounds right. All i know is after i finished tickling a friend once she said something about the people who are tickled start to stutter thing...she may have also said that about babies as well..i can't recall..

I think it is just that an "old wive's tale"-- my parents tickled my feet as a baby, same for my siblings, and none of us stutter...however my brother is SUPER ticklish

My mom has told me that one... obviously she is either wrong or my feet were never tickled as a baby...
Th-th-thank g-g-goodness it isn't t-t-true of l-l-later in l-l-life or I'd d-d-definitely have t-t-trouble s-s-speaking. Uhoh... i-i-it's s-s-started already!!!

....other than that....old wives' tale. My feet were tickled quite frequently from the second it got a reaction outta me....and I don't stutter a stitch.


Now.....I MIGHT stutter some in trying to say anything WHILE my feet are being tickled....but...that's to be expected, I s'pose.....ain't the ONLY thing that happens either... *wink-wink*

i've never heard that before, i was told that i was tickled on my feet when I was younger. Even today my feet are still very ticklish. I have spoken in front of very large crowds before and in that time never noticed myself to studder
