I downloaded a video from aebn. It said I needed Windows Media Player 11 to play it.

Every time I play the clip I get this message.

Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file. For additional assistance, click Web Help.

It works great for every other clip and music file I have.
 
Could be that the file you d/l'ed is corrupted and needs to be re-downloaded.
 
besides the actual video file being corrupt, there could be a missing codec needed to play the file, make sure your version of WMP11 is completely up to date
