Help with Animated Gifs

Does anyone out there know of a free program that creates animated gifs? I mean one that doesn't leave a little strip of text at the top of your gif the says "Unregistered version or not payed for or the like." Please assist!!!

That's the Windows version. The Mac one is a lot less buggy, but you weren't specific.

I use a program called Ulead GIF animator. I have the Lite Edition, but I don't think that is available now. The 30-trail, however, is here. http://www.ulead.com/download/trial.htm
