Hey guys & gals! Casey here from Heroine Universe! I wanted to (finally!) stop by and drop a line regarding some big news I have for all those that enjoyed my work in the past.

Let me preface by saying late last year I was on a roll releasing content, clips, pictures and other goodies at my site. It was a great time for me, and I was so appreciative of the fans that enjoyed seeing my work. Unlike producers who shoot content for the purpose of release, I was (and continue to be) a private photographer that films nylon-oriented fantasy movies. I.e. my OWN fantasies. It was always so humbling to think people actually wanted to see my work, because when I'm shooting I'm never shooting for someone else's perspective...only my own. And since I don't shoot "clips style" short things, but rather 3-hour films, I was amazed at the positive response I got from you guys (and gals). 🙂

Unfortunately (or fortunately!) this past January 2009 I had a life-changing career opportunity in my real life away from this hobby that I couldn't refuse. It was sudden and very, very unexpected. It effectively tripled my salary, and allowed me to buy my new house (my first!). At my young age I was able to step up and move forward in my career (be the boss as it were), but at the cost of having any free time for a web site, or posting things, or even chatting with folks taken away. With a demanding job and a huge house to take care of I was basically driven away from being on the net. I'm a certified workaholic now and will seemingly be for the future. But that's just how life is I suppose.

Flying the ladies in to me and doing shoots is my hobby, and I've never stopped. In fact, 2009 was a banner year for me as I've done more shoots than ever. Having Christina, Kobe and the girls over for nylon fun is the greatest hobby in the world! My problem was, I had NO time to do anything BUT remain a private photographer. Even after I settled into my new life, not much time remained as I'd hoped to try and get back on the net.

That ALL changed about a month ago, when a very old and dear friend of mine (who shares a passion for these ladies like I do) decided to step up and help me bring everything back. Better than ever! Without this person's help, I would NEVER be able to do what I'm about to do and I would have continued on as a private photog. It was a big decision, but I've decided to make a comeback, and in a big way.

SO...for all those that enjoyed my work and want to see it in a BIG WAY...please stop by my site on Thursday, September 10th, 2009, as I'm making TWO huge debuts:

First - my exclusive free photo archive, featuring 1000's of pictures taken directly from many of my films & movies (including some exclusive never-to-be-released private films). It's a big project for me, but with help I'm finally able to do it, and I'm grateful. The archive is going to debut almost completely filled in, so it's going to be quite the sight (at least I think so!). Of course, free to you all.

Second - my exclusive Official Clips Store! On September 10th it's going to debut with nearly 100 never-before-seen clips I've created from many of my private movies & shoots, featuring all my lovely ladies. Good Lord, I always loved your stuff, Casey...as I've told you many, many times in the past. I was on the brink of posting "Whatever happened to Casey?" thread...and then you return!

I'm going to ask the next questions in a different color, to make sure you notice them, and hopefully give me an answer...because I think I asked you before and forgot the answer! And so everyone else can see the answer:

-What is the exact kind of camcorder you use to shoot your stuff?
(HD? Or Better? Harddrive, DVD, or MiniDV tape? What brand and exact model number?)

(I ask because I'm about to purchase my first HD camcorder, and your footage blows all others away.....)

-What program do you use to capture, and render your files?
-How do you compress your videos? (Why does your video quality, though somewhat small, look so DAMN good?!)

The other guys who produce good video quality are Tickle Haven, James Darke (I won't leave you out, James!), and the Czech Tickling websites. Nylon Tickling by guiltrip is a close third, but catching up as of late.
Tickling Pleasures Tickling (TIW) used to have good stuff, but looks to be out of business)

Tickle Abuse, Jessie's sites, (RealTickling, Tied and Tickle Tortured), Tickle Torture, Laughing Gas Zone and the rest still have lower quality clips, video footage wise.

Tickling Paradise probably has one of the lowest quality, their clips are zipped up when you buy them, and never get over 50 or 60 MBytes.....which is really sad, because they really make an effort story wise and set wise. They just put out a clip where this girl, who has a tickle fetish, goes to a doctor and tricks him into tickling her feet - incredible story and clip, but very grainy quality...DAMN!!

I've been told that any type of hard drive or DVD camcorder will compress the clips, even if you record on a high quality setting. (Some of these guys look like they are shooting with the low quality setting, but I could be wrong.)

I absolutely can't wait until September 10th....I wish it were sooner!

I'm interested, because I'm shooting normal, zero-budget movies, and it's like pulling teeth to get my barely handful of guys to show up....I've written so many characters out because people just wouldn't bother to show up.....and there you are, having fetish models (how'd you FIND them anyway?) ...ASK you to take their pictures!! I'm blown away! If I found someone like that, I'd shoot about 70 videos with them....I bet I could figure out 70 new ideas pretty damn quick!

To Mabus = Wow! Thanks for the incredible post! Although I LOVE the compliment, let me just say that I'm a very average filmmaker/shooter at best. I think (and I may be totally off on this) what makes me a little different is that I normally don't do the traditional "tickling" setups or scenes, but rather film what I enjoy most - nylon fantasy/fetish ideas & scenarios. Tickling is always a part of them - sometimes a big part, sometimes a very small part, just depends upon the idea. What I shoot is VERY improv (we NEVER script out anything more than a sentence or two setup for an entire 6-hour day), but by doing that I'm able to become the director, get in there and get the shots I love so much. And a trade secret - the girls you work with will LOVE shooting like that so much more than anything else, because not only does it free them to get more into the work they're doing, but it makes it more enjoyable and less like work. Trust me on that - I've worked with these same ladies for a long time.

As for your questions -

I shoot everything on a Sony HDD High-Def "handycam." 120gig HD. I don't have it in front of me right now so I don't have the model number, but it's a fairly common camcorder (available at any Best Buy or store in the $700-$1200 range, depending upon model/hd size/etc). I ALWAYS use a HDD cam because I never want to waste time messing with changing tapes etc while doing a hot scene. Just works best for me. 🙂 I'm SO not a tech guru, so I can't say on the compress thing. But I shoot High Def movies on it for me (1440x1080) and they look amazing. Christina & the girls on a 100" screen in glorious high def is something to behold. I think this little cam does pretty well! 🙂

My rendering program is Sony Vegas. It's basically the only good one you can use with Sony High Def handycams (because of the file types you record in). I'm sure not the only program you can use - but it's very basic and easy to work in. I'm NOT a big "special fx" guy...I LOVE the down & dirty style of shooting, and shoot with a purpose in mind (to get really sexy shots & scenes), so it's a great little program to use.

As for my story - you can see some info about me on my site www.heroineuniverse.com, but in a nutshell: I was (and continue to be) a regular guy who LOVES nylon fetish/fantasy and the women I work with. I had been a fan for years (although I'm only 29, I go way back to the ALT.newsgroup days before we had TMF), but I never did anything other than see what other people were doing with these lovely ladies. So about 5 years ago I started contacting them, doing custom work with them, and built some very strong working relationships. On urging from Tomiko (someone I had worked with for a while at that point), I took her advice on picking up equipment (BH Photo Video - Tomi's - and my own - recommended place to get stuff!) and flew her out to me and shot her as my first ever and it was magical. I was hooked, and from there started to fly out all my fantasy ladies (Hollywood, Kobe, Christina, Fayth, Akira etc) and continue to shoot my dreams. Surprisingly I've shot quite a bit of M/F material, but my true passion lies in Girl-Girl, which is what I shoot 90% of the time.

HERE IS MY BEST ADVICE I CAN EVER GIVE REGARDING WORKING WITH PEOPLE: Pick someone (guy or girl) that you've always had a crush on, or thought was intriguing, or had a desire to get to know, or anything that can act as the catalyst, and contact them. For me it was Tomiko. She is (and will always be) my dream girl. It just worked out for me that she is probably one of the nicest and sweetest women around (her X-mas cookies kick ass!). I've found success in shooting (personal, not financial) because I work with a small group of ladies that are my "dream" ladies. I never deal with drama or problems or issues because of the relationships I've built. I always know what to expect, I always get 110% from the girls, and the girls ALWAYS have an incredible time and can't wait to come back. It's all about treating the people you enjoy like gold - they are your fantasies afterall!?! LOL

Absolutely will be putting up my Official Clips Store on Thursday, September 10th 2009 to coincide with the free photo archive going up at my site. I figured I would do things a little differently...on day one instead of putting up a dozen or so clips and then adding new ones, I would put up about 100 clips to be available on day one, while adding new ones. Just to show that I'm serious and to give the folks that like my work a lot of variety very early.
