I'd defo agree with trusty smash on the front that family members are better off in the dark on what excites us.

There's a pretty wide continuum of interests, activities and experiences that the people on this forum are into. Sometimes, it's hard to tell a troll from a legit question, until you see a pattern emerging. Most people are just trying to be polite and assume a person is legit at first.

Personally, I don't worry about being "trolled." If I see a thread that looks interesting, I couldn't care less the reason for it.
