OMG Knox, my friend! LOL! Yes, I'll admit I derived pleasure at the Yankees loss last night. Iam a Braves fan, as most who know me are aware, so my team choked on Sunday, and, as I've told my fellow TMFers, I endured some of the worst name calling imaginable on the Yankee message board on AOL, after I directed some comments at some Yankee fans who had bashed the Braves and our fans on Sunday night.
Right now, Iam rooting for a World Series of Cards and whoever. I do NOT want to see the Stros make it after taking out my Braves.

Here's the crucifix you wave at the vampire: forty American League Pennants...twenty-six World Championships...lost a post-season series after going three-oh. Ha ha.

That sound you heard is Joe DiMaggio turning over in his grave. No Yankee team HE ever played on would've done that. Ever. But then, no Yankee team he ever played on had glorified mediocrities like Jorge Posada, and Robinson Cannot, or that AARP-eligible clown Bernie Williams who should've been traded long ago for something of even marginal value.

Let's face it...it's over. Time to rebuild. Suit up Bobby Murcer.
