For the most part..........baseball season is indeed over but I will be rooting for the White Sox till they are out. Them or the Cards.

I am just as glad the Braves are done!

How did I know you were going to be right here waiting to post if the Yanks went down? LOL....anyway, they made it interesting with 2 outs in the 9th..they left way too many men on base! Next year!

They made it interesting? With a 210 million dollar payroll they shouldn't be making it interesting. They should be winning. Do you think George Steinbrenner is in Tampa right now saying" well at least my club made it interesting" ? NO. He is pissed. He spent 210 million dollars and went out a round earlier than they did a year ago. I guess 210 million doesn't buy you what it use to. 🙄

What do you mean if they went down....it was a given..no pitching and a rod did nothing for them at all offensively...money poorly spent....

As for the "wait til next year" speech...The Yanks will be saying that for a long time to come.... :lovestory

I knew the Angels (or the Angles as TTD calls them 😛) would win! The Yankees made it a good series though. Congrats to them for extending us to five games. 😀

Yes he came up empty this series but don't forget his numbers for the team this year and his name coming up as AL MVP! Me myself I am rooting for someone more low key like Mariano considered for MVP...

Please explain to me how bad that is though. If he wins the MVP, he should be embarrassed. David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez hit homeruns and drove in runs in their 3 game playoff series. Alex Rodriguez did nothing in 5 games. He hits .133 and drives in 0 runs and he is the MVP. That is something to tell the grandkids about. 😛 Mariano might will the Cy Young award which would be well deserve Judy. He is the greatest closer I have ever seen. Plus he is a 1st ballot Hall of Famer in my opinion. In my view, Derek Jeter is also a 1st ballot Hall of Famer. Funny thing the only guy who hit well in this series and tried to carry this team was Derek. I may be a Mets fan but I love to watch Derek , Bernie Williams, Jorge Posada, Hideki Matsui and Mariano Riveria. For your team's sake Judy , I hope Robinson Cano really develops into a star. He definately has the tools. He just needs to play better defense though I have seen him make some great plays. For your sake Judy , I hope they get back on track. I cannot wait for the '06 season to get here.

Actually, A-Rods numbers during the season means squat when you are 2 for 24 or whatever in the playoffs.
He is useless.

He should be the MGP........Most GREEDY Player.
He is everything that the game of Baseball shouldn't be or stand for.

The Angels are playing the White Sox. Right now the series is tied 1-1 (the result of one of the worst calls in baseball history :illogical
