This is my first thread, and I'd love to hear some answers on this: Do you go to great lengths to cover up your fetish and even pass up oppurtunities at the risk of discovery? I would say I'm right in the process of changing. I used to hide it completely. Not sure what lengths I would have gone to to hide it, because it wasn't all that tough. Now, I've told one friend, with extremely positive results, and I will eventually maybe tell others. I've met people from the forum and will likely meet more. Which is not to say that I'm going to shout it from the rooftops- I still have a career and family to think about, but I sure don't feel the need to bottle it up anymore. I have one friend from here who I think it might be his biggest fear that his "dirty little secret" is revealed. I don't want to live under that pressure. I myself use to, but age and experience played a huge part on my reversing that decision. If I tickle a woman's foot I can pretty much tell if she likes it or not. Some women who didn't like it,and asked, I would deny it and say I just wanted to know if you were ticklish. But if I tickle them on their feet and they seem to accept it and/or approve it and then ask. Then I owe it to them to tell the truth, and I tell them that I like to tickle their feet. Honesty has always been the best policy. At least for me. This approach may not work for everyone. But in my little world if I found something that isn't broke why try to fix it?

All my friends know about my fetish and are cool with it, so I make no attempt to hide it among them, and often engage in tickling either with them, or right in front of them. My parents, on the other hand, make me uncomfortable. They KNOW about my ticklish fetish (though I would prefer they DIDN'T), but I don't like the fact they do, so I make strides to avoid the topic altogether. If I am watching TV at their house, and it gets mentioned on the program, I'll purposely pretend I was ignoring the TV and will focus my attention elsewhere in the hopes they don't give me "that look".
