I find both groups annoying in the extreme.

I like eating meat, vegetarianism ain't for me, and animals ARE lower life forms than humans. I also prefer to bathe. That said, I enjoy the music and the drugs.

Metal is just not easy to listen to. It's harsh and loud and you're lucky if you can hear the lyrics, if you can call them that. Metalheads are too quick to get into an argument over what is true metal, and I could really give a shit. Not fond of music snobs. Also, I'm just not that angry of a person to be able to listen to such music on a regular basis.

That said, I like AC/DC, if they qualify.

Since when is needing to be angry equated with Metal

Thats like me saying im not high enough or done enough Heroin to listen to\have the sublime experience. Or insert other weed bands

If anything, Metal is the true sound of the working poor class. It did come from bombed out poor england(refering to sabbath) and was adopted by people who related
